Stepping Out on One

TrinchaPaPel is transitioning for the New Year of 2012, I am excited by embracing the Castilian arts here in Sevilla and how my products and focus have been impacted for the better.  The culture has only positively influenced my love for art and has caused an eruption of creative paper art ideas.

TrinchaPaPel reflects the love of simple Kraft paper, color sublimation, recycled products, ephemera and vintage qualities that can be recreated, reinvented and redesigned into a trophy to give to others...or even keep for yourself.  ;)

I love the unique crowd of people that love clean lines, yet with a twist of a vintage look, even a shabby chic adorned with lace, or a vibrant flamenco dancer in bright red!  What about the natural beauty of silhouettes, chandeliers, museums and music theaters?  I will eventually run around France, Italy, Spain, or London on a shopping spree for lace fabrics, spanish tiles and floral damask.
TrinchaPaPel has a lot of great things in store for everyone that loves something 'different' and simple & complexed.

I have been surfing, and surfing, and surfing the web for some of the most intriguing vintage inspirations for journaling.  Now, when I mention inspirations, believe it or not, I am not talking about other journals  and journalists...I am simply meaning FASHION!
My inspirations for creating handmade paper journals for this fall season are simply based off of some of this beautiful combinations of colors, patterns, decor, and styles.
Fall is rapidly approaching and is one of my favorite chill-times of the year.  The color presentations of fall are very seductive, rich and bold, complimentary rich golds with beautiful tribal and ikat (which I adore this year) patterns, as well as a great combinations of patterns and textures.  Here are a few of my favorite thus far.

As you can see, all of those images are absolutely stunning in detail, I just cannot wait until the final production of my journals.  Enjoy!
